The all new Mitsubishi Pajero features are simply stunning.

With it’s height and general sturdiness, the Mitsubishi Pajero simply feels safe. And it’s not an illusion. With a revolutionary new body design, incorporating the latest RISE technology, the Pajero has remarkable strength. It’s designed to take more impact with better energy absorption/distribution and maintain greater handling. Add to that the front, side and curtain airbags, and you soon realise that this is the safest Pajero yet, fully deserving of it’s ANCAP 5 star safety rating.

Diesel power! The new 3.2 litre Diesel engine in the Pajero utilises the latest in diesel technology, and with 150kW of power and a substantial 448Nm of torque, Pajero makes light work of pulling a boat up a slippery ramp or hurling you up to motorway speeds. But the main reason to get the Diesel Engine is the stunning fuel economy, only 9.2 litres/100 km.

Controlling all this is the INVECS II 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox. This advancement uses Smart Logic technology to adapt to how you drive, changing the revs, acceleration and driving style in order to be more efficient and give you a smoother ride.

Being a powerhouse doesn’t mean we have skimped when it comes to convenience. The Mitsubishi Pajero features the type of comfort you’d expect from a Mitsubishi, with stunning leather seats all through the vehicle. The front ones are heated for those cold Winter mornings, and all are designed not just to be comfortable, but to be firm and protective during the Pajero’s wee detours over a dirt track you accidentally discovered several times on your way home one day. There are 7 of these luxurious leather seats, but the back two fold into the floor to give you extra boot space.

And of course the latest technology goes into the Pajero. With the in-dash computer at your fingertips, telling you everything from journey distance to compass bearing to the weather, you’ll never feel lost, even if you’re somewhere off the map. Not that you can be off the map with the built in GPS guiding you. Drive out to the middle of no-where and pump out your favourite tracks thanks to the incredible sound system. The CD/MP3 player turns it up to 11 with the 860 Watt Rockford Fosgate sound system: perfect for those off road adventures.

Four Wheel Drive

With most 4WD vehicles, you either can have either part time 4WD or constant 4WD. The new Mitsubishi Pajero features both as an option. There are a total of four driving modes than give you total control over your environment.

Economic 2WD

For regular road driving, this setting gives you power, solid handling and the greatest effeciency.

Full time 4WD

For use in bad weather, or on bad roads, the 4WD setting gives you added grip and stability.

4WD Low Range

When you’re off-road, this setting distributes power to all four wheels equally.

4WD High Range

This is the Mitsubishi Pajero’s natural state. In this mode, all of that famous 4WD ability is at your command. However deep the mud or steep the track, you can power out of it. There’s a reason Pajero is favoured for off-road driving. Select this mode to appreciate why.
